Business coaching
and high impact Extreme Coaching has taken a new and different approach to
the whole concept of the coaching industry. There are no laws that coaching has
to be one session a week. It has just evolved that way because that is how most
therapy or sports coaching has always been
done. Professional athletes and sports stars have daily coaching to break
through problems. The same principle works for business high performers.
Yes, this system
does work and is convenient for many people.
Of the following three case histories the latter two have been weekly clients.
However, there are other needs especially in the case of company manages and
directors who are under enormous stress. Changing to incorporate solutions
invariably requires a whole chain of other changes. To be successful this needs
constant correcting and feedback loops to ensure the solution does not get sidelined
by old procedures, habits or other priorities.
High Impact or Extreme
Coaching has been designed for problem solving. When the coaching
starts it is something completely new so you are able to think in an utterly
different way. Consequently you view your world with a whole new perception
and understanding. That is exactly what happened to George as in the first case history.
Essentially High
Impact coaching does the same thing as weekly sessions, the difference is that
these busy and important people get to solve problems in 2 or 3 day rather than
10 to 15 weeks. That difference is worth its weight in gold and certainly the
cost of the coaching many times over.

CASE HISTORIES
-
George is a CEO
and was in considerable stress approaching overwhelm. His decisions were not
producing the results he needed. His long term plans were in deep trouble
and he just did not know which way to turn next. The second day of his high
impact EXTREME Coaching he suddenly stopped talking, cupped his face in his
hands and said "s**t, s**t, s**t, now I understand what I have
been doing." The next day he went home then back to his office. A
month later his company had turned around and doubled its turnover, from
then on it has been success after success.

Mary is the
managing director of a training establishment, when she took over the
reigns she inherited a 12 year old problem her predecessor had created and never solved.
Over several years this problem dogged her management and eventually
threatened her job. She began to feel incapable and seriously thought about
early retirement. Mary also became extremely stressed before and during
monthly directors meeting, which she described as never working out as she
planned and frankly hell. After just six sessions of business coaching and
problem solving Mary
solved her inherited problem herself, regained the feeling she was in charge
of the business again and took complete control of the directors meeting.
The change in her confidence was extraordinary, from those early days she
has gone from strength to strength without any further coaching.

Mathew is a
scientist, his job entails compiling regular reports for regulatory committees.
Like many professionals he enjoys the science and finds the paperwork
stressful. In fact a number of circumstances combined to create such a
stressful situation that Mathew became completely overwhelmed by by his job
and fell into depression. That lead to working long days including
frequently going to the office at weekends. This stress developed into the
situation where he took no holidays because he felt the company
depended on him being there. After several sessions of personal coaching
Mathew was able to put his fears and worries into perspective and began to
value his health and his own balance as more important than the company he
worked for. He began planning his personal life again. He started looking
for a new job where he could do what he enjoyed doing most. At the beginning
of the coaching Mathew would not even consider taking a holiday. After six
weeks coaching, without any
warning he announced he was taking a break and immediately took
himself off to Australia for a three week holiday.
